When a file is deleted, it only disappears from the
directory of files but remains in the hard drive unless the space that it
occupied in the hard disk is overwritten by a new file, making the deleted file
recoverable. Windows allows computer to retrieve deleted data in your computer.
Tools such as Recycle Bin allows users to recover data in case of unexpected
computer crash.
If you haven’t emptied the recycle bin, maybe you can
recover the deleted files from it:
1. Minimize any open windows to see the desktop. Locate the Recycle Bin which is usually visible on the desktop.

2. Double-click the Recycle Bin to open it.
3. Review the list of files in the Recycle Bin and locate
the one that you would like to restore.
4. Right-click the desired file.
5. Select Restore from the menu that appears.
6. The file has been restored to its previous location.
However, the windows tools can not always restore deleted
files successfully. Now you can use the recovery software “Wise Recover Deleted”
to recover files instead:
- Download & install Wise Recover Deleted
- Enter Wise Recover Deleted
- Click “Start Scan”
- Select the disk you want to scan and click “Scan”
- Find the data you want to recover from the result list and click “Recover”
- Your data has been recovered!
